The Studio was set up as a Training, Performance and Casting venue.
Sally noticed that there was nowhere in Auckland where new training actors could showcase their work to casting directors and prospective agents. Studio 111 provides a larger space for castings and provides facilities for recalls when Clients and Directors are present (from New Zealand or overseas).
The studio space is used from 7.00am - 6:30pm for casting and from 6.30pm - 10.00pm for Screen Acting, Presenting and Voice classes.

he Studio has also been used by T.V. companies for location filming. Visionary T.V. used the studio for the popular series of "If you think you're funny" and it has also been used for T.V. programmes, infomercials, TV commercials and as a rehearsal space. It is situated near all of Ponsonby's best Cafes.
The Studio has some carparking available , mainly for classes.
The waiting room has two notice boards. One for Film and TV opportunities, and the other for up and coming courses at Studio 111 and elsewhere.
