Presenters Platform The Presenters Platform Training for On Screen and Public speaking has a new website http://www,presentersplatform.co.nz Guy Lockwood Guy Lockwood who attended the Studio 111 Screen Acting courses in 2004 has recently represented the Phillipines in Los Angeles in the World Championships of Performing Arts. There were 5000 entries from 40 different countries. Guy won Gold in the contemporary acting section delivering a Matt Damon monologue from "Good Will Hunting" . Guy also won Gold singing Robbie Williams  "Angels" Guy was approached by 3 Los Angeles acting agents and he was offered a scholarship at the New York Conservatory for Dramatic Arts.. Level 1 Group October 2008 Level 1 Screen Acting class that finished their 10 week course at the end of October 2008. Photo was taking by Lydia Turner a professional photographer who attended the course. Sally Spencer-Harris is in the middle of the photo. The course DVDs that people can purchase at the end of the course now have each scene separately chaptered as well as a highlights chapter on their dvd. Samples of scenes are shown in the courses. Myanmar Cyclone Fund Raiser at Studio 111 Thank you everyone who supported the Live Aid Fund Raiser at Studio 111 on Saturday the 31st Of May 2008. Money was raised for World Vision's program of support for Cyclone Ravaged Burma. There were representatives there from World Vision and the Burmese community living in New Zealand. (Ben with Helen Clark on the day at the Fund Raiser in picture.) Les Mills Global Summit In February 2008 Les Mills International had their Global Summit in Auckland. There were around 700 people in Auckland from 38 different countries. Paulus Romijn has been working with he Les Mills International Program Directors over the last 2 years and at the Summit he facilitated Communication Workshops with different groups from around the world. France, Germany, Portugal, New Zealand, Australia, America, Sweden and Britian. Hannah Matthews Miss Hawaiian Tropic NZ 2007 In 2007 Hannah Matthews completed the Level 1 and Level 2 Screen Acting Courses. She also  completed The Presenters Platform Course.  In December 2007 she won the Miss Hawaiian Tropic New Zealand Competition. She  competed in the World Finals of the Miss Hawaiian Tropic Competition in Las Vegas in 2008 and finished in the Top 10. Known to millions worldwide on the internet as Lonelygirl15. Her story has captivated millions and has become a sort after actress in the United States. She has just recently been in "Time"  Magazine as one of the stories of the year. Jessica was rated by Forbes Magazine as the top "Web Celeb" for 2006. She is featuring in a tennage drama called "Perfect Sport."
